Once you've just launched Bogota Guitar Tuner, it asks you to connect (plug in if necessary) your microphone.

Then, you connect your microphone:

Wait for a few seconds, then you can begin play on one string.

On the screen, you get some new information:

Bogota Guitar Tuner automatically finds:
-
Which string you have just played. (In this case, it was the 5th string that you just pulled, which is an A ("La" in the English notation). Hence, the le 5A (A (la), B(si), C (do), D (ré), E (mi), F (fa) et G (sol).
-
Whether the string is well tuned, or not: In this case, the rectange is green and the arrow is perfectly vectical; which means that the string is well tuned.
-
In the case it may be untuned, by looking at the direction the arrow points to (left of right), you can see how you must tune your string.
Attention: Although the most popular tuning is the EADGBE tuning, a lot more exist: these are the open tuning: (cf. Wikipedia: Open Tuning).
Bogota Guitar Tuner has a library of open tunings included. Once you have selected the tuning you want to play, Bogota Guitar Tuner will assist you to tune properly your guitar to the tuning you have chosen.

Let's suppose your 6th string is not pulled, tightly enough. In this case, the arrow will bend to the left. Then, you will simply need to pull the string tighter until the red rectangle gets green and the arrow gets vertical again.
Then, you do the same for all the 5 other strings. Once all your 6 strings are properly tuned you can begin playing your guitar.
Now, you are able to tune your guitar yourself.
